Applications Engineer (Architecture)
Responsibilities:
* Interpret Machine Manuals to write Macros and aid in advanced machining operations
* Perform troubleshooting to determine machine malfunctions, adjust and then test to ensure machine is performing to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Standards
* Work with Programming to establish and optimize proper cutting parameters
* Project Management on all Onboarding activities
* Establish cutting technology and tooling/fixturing/work holding methods
* Determine and communicate Methods and Sequence of Operations to all internal and externals customers.
* Must adhere to budget as detailed in Onboarding documents.
* Must always be pursuing and implementing new technology.
* Provide ongoing feedback to Engineering/Quoting/Quality departments.
* Participate as a member of the quoting team.
* Provide input to CAPEX committee
* Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
* Must have demonstrated proficiency with all qualifications, duties, requirements, and responsibilities associated with a Developer
* Must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities as detailed above
* Must demonstrate the ability to understand and work with basic mathematical concepts
* Must have full understanding of all aspects of machine manufacturing. i.e.: 3, 4, 5 Axis and Gantry Machines, Material Types, Tooling, Fixtures, Fixture Design, Part Holding Techniques, Advanced CNC Programming (NX / CATIA)
* Must have advance knowledge and application of GD&T and Machine capabilities.
* Must have demonstrated Project Management skills including but not limited to: Budgeting, Cycle Times, Adherence to Schedule.
* Must have demonstrated track record of Optimizing Processes and Programs
