Senior Project Manager (Finance)

Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will lead and manage utility-scale PV projects, overseeing quality, schedules, budgets, and profitability. This role involves direct responsibility for managing complex projects, providing guidance to Project Managers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The SPM will drive customer satisfaction, handle project forecasting, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of project management from RFQ to completion, including schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure clear and timely communication internally and externally regarding project status.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, working with EPC teams and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed workflows, including change orders, safety plans, and schedule tracking.
- Oversee site operations, inventory control, and logistics to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and deliver project documentation, including submittals, change orders, and closeout docs.
- Collaborate with sales and estimating teams, handling scope changes and securing necessary resources.
- Ensure quality assurance, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
- Conduct post-mortem analysis to identify lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 7 years of project management experience, preferably in renewable energy or construction.
- PMP and/or Licensed General Contractor required, OSHA 10 preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (Epicor, SmartSheet, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
