Mentorship and Professional Growth Coordinator (Finance)

Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of mentorship programs for new and existing DSPs.
Provide direct mentoring to DSPs, helping them build key skills and knowledge required for their roles.
Track the progress of mentorship relationships and assist in adjusting programs to ensure their effectiveness.
Actively engage with employees to provide guidance, support, and encouragement throughout their professional journey.
Employee Coaching & Development
Offer one-on-one coaching to DSPs who require additional support to meet performance expectations.
Assist in developing and executing Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for employees struggling to meet job standards.
Provide regular feedback to employees on their progress, ensuring they feel supported and motivated to succeed.
Leadership Academy Support
Collaborate with the Director to implement the Leadership Academy curriculum and activities.
Provide mentorship and coaching to emerging leaders within the organization, guiding them through their development as managers and team leaders.
Help facilitate Leadership Academy sessions, supporting participants with real-world advice and leadership strategies.
Employee Engagement & Retention
Contribute to creating a supportive, growth-oriented workplace by maintaining positive relationships with all employees and fostering engagement.
Assist in tracking employee satisfaction and performance data to help identify areas for improvement or additional support.
Promote recognition programs to celebrate employee achievements and milestones.
Program Administration & Support
Assist with program logistics, including scheduling, communication, and material preparation for training and mentorship activities.
Help collect data on mentorship program effectiveness, employee performance, and leadership development, providing feedback to the Director for ongoing improvements.
Support the Director in reporting progress on mentorship and leadership initiatives to leadership teams and stakeholders.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the Director and other stakeholders to ensure all mentorship and leadership development activities align with the company's broader goals and values.
Stay informed about best practices in employee development and recommend new strategies or adjustments to existing programs.
Support the integration of new tools, resources, or methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of the mentorship and leadership programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
At least 3-5 years of experience in coaching, employee development, or mentorship, preferably within the human services, healthcare, or related sector.
Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to employees at all levels.
Familiarity with leadership development and management training concepts.
Experience working with performance improvement processes and PIPs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with leaders and employees to achieve shared goals.
Proactive and adaptable with a strong passion for supporting employee growth and professional development.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an office environment and attend meetings, both virtually and in-person.
Occasional travel to different locations for mentorship activities, training sessions, and Leadership Academy events.
This position is integral to supporting the Director and the various professional growth programs. The Manager would have both a direct coaching role and the responsibility of assisting with the administrative and operational aspects of the mentorship and leadership initiatives.
