Assistant Director- University Partnerships (Finance)
1. Monitors implementation of partnership agreements and achievement of targeted learning outcomes.
2. Tracks partnership agreements between UH and other partner institutions, working with colleges and faculties to update and renew or terminate agreements as appropriate.
3. Identifies areas for potential expansion of existing partnerships or creation of new partnerships (geographic, field of study, level of study, etc.), working with colleges and faculties.
4. Negotiates or assists in negotiation of partnership agreements on behalf of the university, working closely with relevant faculties and colleges, Office of Admissions and Accreditation, Office of General Counsel, and others as appropriate.
5. Highlights and seeks to build synergies and potential for joint efforts and programming across all university partnerships.
6. Works closely with Learning Abroad and UH Global Initiatives to maximize the support partnerships provides to other internationalization efforts at the university, including reciprocal educational exchange programs (REEPS).
7. Works to ensure that values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility are a fundamental part of all university partnerships.
8. Prepares regular reports and periodic updates on the status of all university partnerships.
9. Performs other job-related duties as required.
MQ: Requires a thorough understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of a professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a directly job-related Master's degree or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of directly job-related experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Foreign language skills, particularly Spanish or Chinese preferred.
