Willow Creek Healthcare Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Weekend Treatment Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated nursing team. In this specialized role, you'll be responsible for providing essential skin and wound care to our residents while ensuring the highest standard of clinical care in a skilled nursing setting.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, treat, and monitor skin conditions and wounds (pressure injuries, surgical wounds, ulcers, etc.)
• Implement wound care protocols per physician orders and facility policy
• Accurately document assessments, treatment plans, wound progress, and dressing changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, nursing staff, and dietitians
• Educate staff and residents on proper wound prevention and care practices
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
• Participate in skin audits and assist with care plan development related to skin integrity
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in condition to appropriate parties
• Support nursing staff during weekend shifts as needed

Qualifications:

• Current California LVN license in good standing
• CPR certification (required)
• Prior experience in wound care or as a treatment nurse preferred
• Knowledge of wound care best practices and infection control protocols
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience is a plus
