Overnight Cleaner (Transportation)

Cleaners perform a range of duties to clean the kitchen after the shift to be prepared for the following day. Is responsible for keeping the back of the house areas clean and organized according to customer specifications. The main duties may include but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing floors, dusting countertops, ceilings and walls, sanitizing kitchens or other BOH areas.

Kitchen Cleaner duties and responsibilities:
Remove floor mats to designated area to degrease and clean Breakdown Clean and degrease ovens, ranges, flat tops and grills with oven gel and soap no excess water to be use in the equipment Sweep floors including moving equipment on wheels and under fix equipment making sure to remove all food particles from corners and edges Degrease and deck brush floors to agitate grease and dirt, rinse floors and dry Clean and disinfect floor drains including the ones under equipment Polish all stainless steel Clean walls and ceiling vents Wipe down counters Clean table legs and wheels After floor is dry replace all floor mats Remove trash clean trash cans and replace liners Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures. Be able and familiar on how to handle abrasive chemicals such as degreasers. Be sure to always read and follow the Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) instructions. Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning (e.g. maintaining cleaning machinery)
