Electrical Design Engineer (Engineering)
JOB SUMMARY
Undertakes systems concept, definition, and layout for complete wiring of aircraft interiors as well as supporting grounding and bonding calculations and related certification documentation. Create and or check 2D drawings electrical systems, components, sub-assemblies and assemblies as required. Should possess the motivation to complete projects on time and represent the company's core values.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Apply basic aircraft wiring designs and practices while designing aircraft interior wiring systems
Use specifications, customer specifications and engineering drawings while designing aircraft interior wiring systems
Produce accurate drawings such as wiring diagrams, wire harnesses, electrical installations and meet drawing release dates
Write test plans, reports and analysis such as electrical load analysis, electromagnetic interference test plans and reports and passenger address system substantiations
Check drawings and prepare engineering change notices (ECNs) as required to support manufacturing
Develop quality designs, evaluating cost, safety, and manufacturing, within the time constraints of a project
Prepare drawings, reports and other engineering data required for production, testing and qualification of designed equipment
Act as shop liaison during initial production units to solve engineering problems encountered in production and support production personal with manufacturing electrical design
Understand and apply aerospace/OEM standard practices in engineering drawings
Examine suppliers lead times, cost, and availability for electrical components and parts
Apply knowledge of the basic understand of airworthiness requirements for passenger aircraft interiors
Apply knowledge of basics understanding of electrical engineering, especially power systems
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
A High School Diploma is required.
A four-year college (Bachelor's degree) is required; a (Master's degree) is desired
Experience:
Level I: 0-2 years of engineering experience
Level Il: 2-5 years of engineering experience
Level IIl: 5+ years of experience with at least 1 year leading or mentoring the work of assigned employees.

Must be authorized to work in the United States. For positions at an ITAR facility, must have U.S. Citizenship or hold Permanent Resident status.

Level II: Direction is provided in terms of tasks and objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion on how well objectives have been met. Will autonomously work on routine assembly or designs with frequent status updates with supervisor. Will be provided with additional guidance on more complex or non-routine assemblies.
Level III: Direction is provided in terms of tasks and objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion on how well objectives have been met. Will work autonomously on any assembly or design with only occasional status updates with supervisor.
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY
None for Entry and Intermediate levels. Senior level may oversee the work of others.
