MFH Coordinator - ARNG Military Funeral Honors (Finance)
Serves as state-level military human resources (HR) representative to fulfill requests for the Army National Guard (ARNG) Honor Guard ceremonies for deceased veterans within the assigned area of operation (AOR). Coordinates requests for ARNG Honor Guard support, verifies eligibility, and assigns appropriate honors ceremony providers in accordance with the Military Funeral Honors (MFH) Handbook. Maintains availability via telephone 24/7/365 to receive requests for ARNG Funeral Honors support.
Responsibilities
3+ years of Human Resources experience in administration supporting the military.
Experience can be gained through prior or current military service, member of a military family, or service as a military family volunteer.
Ability to work as part of a team; strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment.
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple projects, often under time constraints, and motivate colleagues towards a common goal.
