Vice President, Worldwide Sale & Marketing (Finance)
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing (VP WW Sales & Mktg) will lead the strategy, functions, initiatives, and activities that support and direct the selling of the company's products and services across the entire globe. S/he will develop and implement the sales processes, methodologies and organization to meet pre-established sales and growth objectives of company, with over $280 million revenue responsibility.
We are looking for someone who brings forward an outside-in view that challenges internal thinking and provides objective views of opportunities and risks. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
The Vice President Worldwide Sales & Marketing is responsible for these and other duties as required for the region:
Specifically, the VP WW Sales & Mktg will be responsible for growing the requisite global organization and recruiting, selecting, managing, mentoring, and motivating a team of professionals tasked with penetrating accounts in a broad range of large enterprise and service provider accounts. S/he will provide leadership to regional and channel sales executives and a broad team of sales professionals in support of distribution channel and direct sales operations to generate, develop and close sales opportunities.
In support of the group's objectives, s/he will work with senior management to establish the procedures and necessary infrastructure for managing worldwide sales related operations, including reviewing major account plans, monitoring and managing the sales pipeline, tracking progress against plans, accurately forecasting revenue and expenses, developing annual and quarterly sales plans, and establishing sales compensation plans and policies.
Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for all revenue generation across the global footprint of A10 Networks. This includes delivering on quarterly and annual revenue objectives, major account penetration and sales operations operating cadences, integrated field marketing plans, calendar, timelines, budgets, and resources necessary to support A10 Networks' objectives globally;
Develop and manage a high functioning staff; providing an opportunity for growth through ownership of projects and their visibility to upper management;
The VP WW Sales & Mktg will also collaborate closely with the company's executive leadership team and functional organizations to gain alignment with all its corresponding goals and objectives.
For example, s/he will work closely with:
VP of Marketing to ensure effective targeting of its market segments, including customer and competitive feedback and marketing events;
Product Development to provide input and customer reaction on future product releases;
Finance to balance quarterly sales targets with broader, longer-term customer relationships, and;
Human Resources to develop effective orientation and training programs for the sales/SE forces.
