Provides operational and technical administration and analysis for the PeopleSoft (PS) Student Administration System with development, setup, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
1. Manages administration and implementation of PS operational processes for assigned modules; maintains PS set up tables.
2. Provides operational support and troubleshooting for end-users.
3. Analyzes business processes and requirements in coordination with end users to develop and design functional specifications for modifications; coordinates programming requirements with UH developers and project staff.
4. Manages the testing and implementation of developed PS modifications and new functionality, and PS upgrades and patches.
5. Develops functional business process documentation integrating new processes with existing ones.
6. Develops and modifies queries for university departments to support daily operations and provide administrators with statistical and historical data.
7. Coordinates the administration of data transfers to external systems.
8. Develops training guides and resources for end-users.
9. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all program offerings, application deadlines, and admissions materials by regularly maintaining and updating the ApplyTexas application system.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in management information systems, business administration or related field and (3) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
