Business Intelligence Leader (Finance)
Job Description: Produce reporting analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to drive better business decisions and operational efficiencies. Design and implement solutions to collect and analyze data with different databases and environments. Manage 4-5 technical developers' team through scheduling and load balancing to achieve functional objectives. Meet and collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business needs and opportunities. Interpret and act upon multiple reporting and analytical requests to ensure that data sets, data ingestion, curation and any system development is coordinated. Manage stakeholders' expectations with agreed project prioritization and timeline to support continuous business improvement initiatives. Develop Training program for 4-5 technical developers' team. Analyze all complex data, business logic, processes and identify requirements for business enhancement in project. Perform assessment on all reporting requirements and develop long term strategy for various reporting solutions. Manage the resolution of BI reporting issues by engaging with respective data, process, system owners to address issues impacting day to day operations of stakeholders. Develop and maintain reporting governance ensuring end-to-end integrity and best practices of all reporting architecture. Position eligible for 100% remote work reporting to company site in Lexington, NC. Position oversees 4-5 direct reports in the positions of Business Intelligence Analyst that work as Technical Developers for creation of Tableau reports.
Requirements: Position requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science or a related field, and progressive, post-Bachelor's experience (3 years with Master's or 5 years with Bachelor's) in data analytics, business intelligence analysis or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Developing BI solutions using Tableau, Salesforce Lightning, and Einstein Analytics platform to build visualizations; Utilizing SQL, Redshift, and Oracle to build, store and query datasets for analysis and visualizations; Utilizing R, Python for data preprocessing, feature selection and machine learning model building; Utilizing SSIS, Databricks to extract, transform and load data for analytics; Utilizing big data and cloud computing technologies to solve complex data problems (AWS, Databricks, Spark); Prioritizing, scheduling, planning and allocating resources for execution of BI roadmap; and Maintaining BI Compliance and Governance frameworks.
