Middle Molding Lead Technician
Amsted Rail-Griffin Wheel, the leading manufacturer of railroad wheels in North America, is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Middle Molding Lead for our Groveport foundry.
Position: Middle Lead Technician - Molding
Afternoon Shift (C Shift)
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Position Summary: Provides assistance in meeting Middle Team's daily objectives; advises supervisor when issues are not resolved; relieves and maintains stock for team members at core baker, mold cleaner-cope, spray booth, and stopper setter workstations. Maintains mold count online (inspecting, removing as needed, and replacing online as well as in the Mold Preheat Ovens). Provides assistance and direction on Spray Tank Filling/Gun Cleaning at start of each shift.
Minimum Qualifications: Satisfactory work record including performance (e.g. no active rules violations/discipline, attendance warnings, etc.) and the successful completion of Asset Profiles assessment.
Evaluation Areas Will Be: Practical learning, initiative, job fit motivation, work standards, safety awareness, oral communication, work record including performance (e.g. rules violations/discipline, attendance, etc.). Ability to qualify on all jobs to relieve and must be forklift licensed.
