OPERATIONS SPECIALIST I (Finance)



SUMMARY:             

This position is responsible for all aspects of securities and operations such as: income processing, capital actions, principal pay-downs and transfer of securities.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Post transactions to the trust accounting system as requested
  • Perform in a dual capacity for handling securities and entering the vault
  • Update reporting logs as directed
  • Make deposits with the bank daily
  • Perform daily duties including copying, scanning, report distribution, mail and handling calls from internal clients and filing
  • Participate in Business Continuity testing
  • Participate in required training
  • Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Perform special projects as needed and other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE

  • Attention to accuracy and detail
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Customer service experience highly preferred
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Deadline environment
