Summary The Hydrocarbon Extraction Tech will be responsible for safely and effectively extracting oil consistent with company requirements. Responsibilities Include: Prepare equipment and products for butane extraction.Process material by following standard operating procedures.Ensure consistency of product through testingMaintain and store strict inventory records.Complete routine preventive maintenance and cleaning.Troubleshooting instruments and equipment.Timely and accurate reporting.Quick response to compliance related issues.Assist with implementation of corrective action plans. Responsibilities Include: Oversee Metrc compliance within the extraction and distillation department. Timely packing out of finished batches for testing the next business day after completion. Maintain and update relevant sheets daily, incorporating new data such as yields and testing Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Collaborate with the accounting department to complete daily invoices, manifests, and cost accounting entries. Conduct weekly audits to ensure error-free Metrc records and proper tagging of all physical inventory in the lab. Provide assistance with testing processes in the oil department as required. Obtain permission to train and learn on various lab equipment as time permits. Required Skills and Abilities: Must be 21 or over (required by law). Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in Metrc compliance and data analytics, is preferred. Familiarity with oil processing and extraction techniques. Must be observant and detail oriented. Must have strong multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills. Must have reliable transportation, good attendance, and be on time ready to work. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with team members and leadership. Ability to work independently or with a team with guidance and supervision.
