Job Summary:
As a Parts Coater, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, operating mechanical equipment to coat parts while upholding our commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency on our 2nd shift team in Savanna.
Job Duties:
- Operate assigned mechanical equipment with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure that all produced items meet stringent quality control requirements.
- Complete all necessary documents accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area according to 5S standards.
- Uphold our commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and quality in all aspects of your work.
- Be flexible and ready to assist with other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Experience and Education:
- Perform work under direct supervision, demonstrating the ability to handle basic issues and escalate more complex matters as needed.
- Possess a beginning to working knowledge of the subject matter, with 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience driving powered industrial equipment is a plus.
Competencies/Skills:
- Ability to interpret and execute work instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in following both written and verbal directions.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate within the team.
- Strong foundational mathematical skills.
- Possession of powered industrial equipment certification or willingness to obtain certification.
