SUMMARY The Certified Nursing Assistant is trained to provide care in the clinic setting to patients under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse or a Registered Nurse. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Incumbent must have the skills, ability and judgment to perform the following essential job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation: Assists in the collection of assessment data, such as vital signs and intake/output. Subjective and objective data are reported to Clinic Nurse in Charge.Provides care that meets the patient's needs such as repositioning, dressing and ambulating, for patients of all ages.Collects laboratory specimens.Creates and maintains a comfortable and safe environment for patients, families, and visitors. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Reports directly to the Director of Phelps Medical Group.
