WHO YOU ARE
As a Distribution Operator, you will move, stock, and stage products and materials using a walkie rider or other material handling equipment. You will also service and perform Small Parcel tasks. You will learn RF scanning device experience, Pass and maintain industrial lift truck certification, and Certification on one of our three stand-up forklifts, Walkie Rider preferred
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Our distribution center is located in Carlisle, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded, in accordance with customer specifics and any value added services required
Maintains PIT certification on a walkie rider and demonstrate competency on an RF scanning device
Perform all required Distribution Operator 1 duties as required during an operational day to include partial picking, supporting Small Parcel, warehouse sanitation, hand unloading import containers and assisting with projects as needed.
Meets the productivity standard of 95%.
Report quality and inventory variances to individual leads and/or supervisors
Maintain the facilities, equipment, tools and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion, adhering to all sanitation practices.
Follows all AMES/CDC policies and procedures, best practices, and OSHA regulations.
Assists and follows overall company policies and procedures in servicing the customer
Comply with all safety policies and procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assist in any other required operational functions or support areas as business needs dictate.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Able to complete simple math, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Able to read and comprehend simple instruction

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
