Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oiler to maintain and service our fleet of light and heavy equipment. The Oiler will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery is properly lubricated, fueled, and inspected to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of lubrication techniques, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Perform routine lubrication, fueling, and fluid maintenance on company equipment, including electric scissor lifts, front-end loaders, mini excavators, various types of trailers, trenchers, and skid steers.Inspect machinery for signs of wear, leaks, or potential failures and report issues to the fleet manager.Maintain accurate service records and logs for all equipment.Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.Ensure all lubricants, oils, and fluids are stored and handled safely.Follow company and OSHA safety standards while working in the field or shop.Operate service trucks and other equipment safely while on job sites.Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.Willing to flexible with roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience as an Oiler, Equipment Technician, or in a similar maintenance role preferred.Knowledge of lubrication techniques and maintenance best practices for scissor lifts, loaders, excavators, trailers, trenchers, and skid steers.Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and service schedules.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Clean MVRClass A CDL or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.OSHA 10 Certification.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.Basic mechanical skills and willingness to assist with repairs when necessary.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.Frequent lifting of tools, parts, and fluid containers (up to 50 lbs).Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
