What you will do
The Manufacturing Associate I is responsible for operating production equipment to produce subassemblies or finished products, interpreting instructions and specifications to set up equipment, and ensuring products are properly assembled and defects are removed:
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with production team to operate manufacturing equipment and produce subassemblies or finished products according to specifications
- Ensure all products on assembly line are properly assembled and remove defective products
- Clean and maintain equipment as needed, and notify supervisor of maintenance and repairs
- Prepare accurate records/documentation related to quality and work in progress
- Troubleshoot minor production problems to ensure smooth operations
- This is to work on day shift which is between 6:00-6:15am-6pm-6:45pm depending on role. This is a 2-2-3 days rotation schedule
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- High School/Secondary Education or Equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proven working experience in manufacturing or production environment for 2-4 years
- Experience with operating production equipment and interpreting instructions and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Participant in Drexel University Manufacturing Career Accelerator Program is preferred
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow all quality and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot production problems
