The Director, New Business Development is a crucial leadership role within the Digital Solutions Group at Equifax. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with key customers in the fraud detection and prevention, identity verification, chargeback management, and regulatory compliance sectors. This role is essential to expanding Equifax's market presence and achieving significant sales targets through new business.
What you'll do
Demonstrate strong leadership and relationship-building skills and apply a value-based sales methodology to achieve goals by selling consultatively to emerging markets and all ecommerce companies.
Responsible for managing the new business development executives, retiring quota, developing and building account plans, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers.
Responsible for identifying and developing leads, conducting account research, leading sales calls, and creating relationships that lead to new business for the company.
Attend tradeshows, create a positive and productive sales culture with consistent and open communication, and work collaboratively with all departments.
Execution of the strategic sales plan to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and goals.
Perform territory segmentation and assignments.
Manage sales personnel through onboarding, training, and performance management.
Implementation of all tactical activities assigned in effort to meet sales objectives.
Utilize the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities to maximize territory potential.
Collaborate with Client Success, Marketing, Product and other internal teams to achieve business goals.
Conduct sales calls and presentations.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
Create a high performance, urgent, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
Act as a face of the company at tradeshows and other key industry events.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.
Other sales and sales management activities as directed by SR. VP of Sales.
What experience you need
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 7 years strategic selling experience required, including prior national and/or major account sales.
Experience leading, directing and mentoring a sales team.
Proficiency using a CRM program, i.e., Sales Force.
Ability to travel.

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $140,000 to $175,000. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program.
