Financial Analyst (Finance)
Summary
Provides financial analysis at the direction of the FP&A Manager, Controller, and Director of Finance. Supports the finance and accounting teams teams as well as the finance needs of departments throughout the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for developing budgets/forecasts and associated analysis for Marketing and IT cost centers.
Assist in developing budgets/forecasts and associated analysis for Operations and Engineering cost centers
Perform daily credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Perform financial analysis on new product launches and present to senior management
Assist in coding and processing IT-related invoices accurately and efficiently.
Research and explain variances vs forecast for monthly expenses
Responsible for ad-hoc analysis and reporting as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience. Bachelor of Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or other relevant degree required. Accounting or finance experience preferred.
Special qualifications or skills
Experience working with large amounts of information and different systems.
Strong analytical, business process & problem solving capabilities.
Highly efficient and effective with advanced analytical tools, e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerBI.
Natural curiosity and desire for continuous improvement
Comfortable working with and presenting to executive team
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
