Application Development Senior Advisors (Finance)
Provide onshore and offshore software solutions through the timely diagnosis of technical concerns and prioritization of reported errors. Use Agile Methodology to break projects into phases, emphasizing continuous collaboration and improved navigation within software development project management processes. Take lead role in developing solutions using leading technology such as Cloud based solutions, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Use integrated development environment (IDE) tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio to develop websites, web apps and API web services. Create enhancements, remediate vulnerabilities, and improve overall functionality and performance of supported web portals, APIs, and applications. Write, develop, and implement code. Develop and implement APIs created with Visual Studio, C# and other technologies to transmit data. Utilize legacy applications to maintain code and provide support to ensure the software continues to support the business. Transmit data to external partners using JSON. Maintain documentation via ticket tracking, including steps and actions taken to resolve customer technical software issues. Assist in improving current processed and supported technology solutions. Communicate and disseminate project progress to service provider team. Partial virtual/work from home benefit available.
Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related and five years of experience in Information Technology or a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and two years of experience in Information Technology. Experience must include APIs, cloud technology, Microsoft Visual Studio (IDE technology), C# .Net, T-SQL, JSON, and Agile methodology.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
