IDOT Construction Technician (Finance)
Compensation Data
Wage range: $27 - $34 per hour based on experience.
Mission
As an IDOT Construction Technician, your mission will involve providing construction supervision services. With limited supervision, you will observe, monitor, verify, and record Contractor's work daily for compliance with Illinois Department of Transportation's (IDOT) quality and schedule objectives as defined in the construction contract documents. Additionally, you will proactively address field issues by bringing them to the attention of the IDOT Program Manager for timely resolution. Your responsibilities will include preparing daily field logs, recording completed activities, and overseeing Contractor activities at various work sites.
