Clinic Care Technician (Healthcare)
Fall River Health Services is looking for a Clinic Care Tech (CCT) to assist providers with clinical patients by ensuring the exam room is prepped according to professional/organizational standards; preparing patients for exam; and documenting patient encounters. CCT in coordination with performs sterilization for sterile supplies. CCT serves patients in scheduling appointments and welcoming patients and visitors in person or on the telephone. CCT as needed serves as reception in answering phones and managing check-in and check-out as needed to maintain quality clinic operations. The Clinic Director will direct overall responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Assist providers with the examination and treatment of patients to include: ensuring examination room is prepared for patient encounter, taking an initial history
for the chart, taking and documenting vital signs, making lab and x-ray appointments as needed, and explaining the preparations to the patient.Assist the provider(s) in procedures as directed by provider and within scope of practice.Retrieve needed supplies, calls patients for care coordination and or takes messages from patients and relays to provider.Evaluate provider schedule and coordinates, dates, forms and checks protocols to ensure patients are scheduled as per providers protocols.Maintain appropriate levels of supplies and monitors for out dates.Clean and stock examination and treatment rooms.Assist with keeping workroom orderly and clean.Assists staff in keeping the clinic running smoothly and providing excellent customer service and care for the patients.Perform sterilization of sterile equipment.Greeting customers professionally both in person and on the phone.Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues.Optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient schedulingAnswer incoming phone calls, routing phone call encounters via Electronic Medical record to appropriate work group pool in basket.Receive and documents prescription refill requests, routine request to appropriate work group pool in basket.Provide education to new patients via telephone and mailing of New Patient PacketsScheduls all clinic patients appointments, verifying call demographic information.Rotation Saturday front desk/reception coverage. The rotation is subject to change based on staffing.Assist with rooming for Wound Care patients.Additional duties as assigned
The average Salary for this position is $16.00- $20.25 an hour depending on years of experience.
