Job Overview: Linde has an immediate opening for an On-Site Account Sales Director will be responsible for supporting existing customers, renewing business and identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will manage the existing on-site customers, assume accountability for an existing project portfolio, develop and support new business opportunities, and drive Linde's growth objectives. On-Site Account Manager will work closely with Linde Engineering, Standard Plants, Customer Service and Area management to ensure that Linde's financial targets are realized, and customer expectations met. Primary Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the On-Site Sales Director is to manage the On-Site portfolio in the Western Region of the US and ensure that delivery of profitable sales growth consistent with Linde's overall objectives. - Develop a strategic plan for each customer, including needs analysis, growth strategy and renegotiation plan - Understand customer applications/needs and Linde offerings in order to develop a value offering to every Linde customer - Establish and maintain relationships with decision makers and end users at current and potential customers - Maintain an up-to-date listing of existing On-Site opportunities in the Western Region of the US that include existing customers with growth potential, customer who are expected to relocate into the Western Region of the US and customers who are competitively served in the area - Review financial models for each proposal and work closely with capex team to gain the requisite corporate approvals - Management of sales cycle with a particular focus on the renewal of existing business in an advantageous manner - Prospecting, qualifying, working with technical resources to develop customer solutions, develop proposals, edit contracts and manage negotiations. - Understand the value of Linde products and application technologies. - Recognize and address growth opportunities at existing Linde customers by utilizing all available resources - Work closely with Linde legal counsel to thoroughly understand, explain and negotiate supply agreements - Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions - Manage all aspects of customer relationships for contracted portfolio of customers - Serve as an escalation point for other customer facing parts of the organization including service, logistics, and billing - Manage and develop relationships with a major electronic customer in Phoenix at all local levels and dimensions such as Operations, Procurement, Quality - Responsible to develop and show progress of quarterly meeting revisions with a major electronic customer in Phoenix - Pursue in coordination with Linde's Global Account Manager new business and new expansions - Present business proposals to Senior Management to approve new investments and new business with a major electronic customer in Phoenix Required Qualifications: - Five to ten years business to business technical sales experience - Excellent interpersonal communication and time management skills - Proficiency in developing internal and external presentations and proposals - Proficiency in Excel - Ability to be assigned a company vehicle for regular travel in assigned geography including occasional overnight and air travel Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering - Experience in the Industrial Gases market segment About Linde: Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2024 sales of $33 billion.
