LifeWorks Austin
PRN Group Counselor - Resolution Counseling (Bilingual Preferred) (Personal Services)
Would you agree that one of the fundamental cornerstones of long-lasting success and perseverance is a healthy relationship? Whether this be with friends, co-workers, loved ones, and/or family, healthy relationships help us to thrive and truly motivate us to do our best each and every day! The Lifeworks Austin Resolution Counseling program is designed to help facilitate just that. The Resolution Counseling program is dedicated to creating a safe community by ending intimate partner violence and advocating for relationships based on equality and respect. Resolution Counseling offers psycho-educational groups for adults who have been harmful towards their partners. Group goals include taking responsibility for violent and/or abusive behavior, understanding the dynamic of power and control, learning adaptive communication and conflict resolution skills, and managing emotions in non-aggressive ways.
The PRN/Substitute Counselor position with Resolution Counseling is an excellent opportunity to gain and/or grow experience working with underserved populations. You can expect to be working in a dynamic, strategic, innovative, and visionary organization alongside experts in the field and supportive leadership team. This PRN position is without fixed hours; however, we are seeking someone with availability primarily Monday-Thursday, 5:30pm-8:30pm for around 12-15 hours per month. This position earns a competitive pay ranging from $27.16-$29.68 per hour for those with their provisional license. For those with their advanced/full licensure, we offer an hourly rate of $32.98-$35.86 depending upon experience.
